Internet crime is not a strange phenomenon. The internet is a mirror of our “live” society. You have scum bags and real criminals in our normal society, and of course you fin d the same kind of people on the internet. Nor more or not less. Of course the so-called anonimity, or at least the feeling of it, attracts a lot of not so nice people… We live in the age of possibilities. Not to say that all of these possibilities are good, because we all know that some of them are quite horrid. But, as always, we have to take the good with the bad. One aspect of technology that introduced a vast array of possibilities was the personal computer. Or should I say is the personal computer? There is still more yet to come. The outstanding advantage this technology offers us concerns the Internet. Suddenly everything was within our reach. No more writing letters on paper or driving to the bank to deposit a check. Home computers offer us unlimited conveniences. However, there is also a dark side to these wonder machines, which also concerns the web. Laptops, laptops, laptops! I have to say that I love my laptop computer. Or, notebook computer if you prefer. Personally I can hardly tell the difference. All I know is that mine typically sits on my lap; therefore I call it a laptop. There are many wonderful aspects of these nifty little machines. They do so much for us everyday. This is exactly why I couldn’t bare to live without mine after experiencing its wonders. It’s definitely not just about checking the bank account or sending an email. It’s about getting work done from home, and having the coolest and most advanced writing utensil ever. I need my Mac G4 Ibook to write all the time. It’s convenient and I adore the thing. Build your own PC and feel like a hero… in case you don’t mess up. If you decide to throw yourself in it, just do it for the fun of it. Chances are low that you can spare a dime doing all the hard work yourself. It can be fun, educating and entertainment… If you want to build your own pc, perhaps you should reconsider. Building your own computer can be really rewarding, and can teach you a whole lot about how pcs work, but there are definite downsides. If you build your own computer, you will not have things like warranties. That means that, if because of your inexperience you mess up one of your components, you will be out of luck and have to buy another one.
